FACULTY
Anna Kate Melani (Mulvihill) (Owner/Teacher)
At the age of 3, Anna Kate Mulvihill began her dance training at Mansur Ballet School in Pittsburgh, PA. In December of 2003, she graduated from Eastern University with a BA in Dance and Psychology. While at Eastern, Anna Kate continued her ballet training with Dr. Joselli Deans, a former member of the Dance Theater of Harlem and received modern training from Dr. Karen Clemente. She has also received extensive training from Point Park University, Dance Alloy, Koresh Dance Company, Contempra Dance Theatre, and Rennie Harris Puremovement. Anna Kate has taught for several years in private and public schools and studios in Pittsburgh and Philadelphia, PA. In 2004, Anna Kate founded Bella School of Dance in Sewickley, PA.
Lori Burens
Lori Burens has been dancing since she was 5 years old. Her tap, jazz, and ballet training began at Images in Dance, and David DeMarie Dance Studios in Buffalo, NY. She also spent many summers taking master classes in NYC. Lori continued to dance in college at the University of Pittsburgh and post - college at Point Park University. Lori has taught and choreographed both children and adults for many years. Lori teaches creative movement, jazz, and tap for Bella School of Dance.

SCHOOL PHILOSOPHY
During class, students are given
age-appropriate dance education that emphasizes the personal, physical, and social development of each student’s gifts in dance. In an encouraging, non-competitive, and creative environment, students are challenged and inspired through dance technique, meaningful content, teamwork, and improvisational exercises. |
